4 Difficult Commercial Laundry Challenges and How to Solve them

It’s not difficult to find articles that promise to solve all of your laundry problems and teach you how to remove any stain with ease. However, 99 percent of those articles aren’t about industrial cleaning supplies.
You have unique challenges and constraints as a business owner of a commercial washing operation. Every day, you have a mountain of laundry to clean. And you have a lot of customers who rely on you to get stubborn stains out of clothes, get them clean and dry quickly, and never harm them.
Today, we’ll look at four specific laundry difficulties faced by commercial cleaning operations and offer solutions for each.

Challenge #1: Stain removal takes time– that we don’t have!

Solution: Quality commercial cleaning products, stain identification, and proper staff training.

Patience is the first rule of stain removal: it will take time to remove the stain, but time is a luxury we don’t have. You need to be able to remove stains as rapidly as feasible in a commercial setting.

Another common rule of thumb for laundry is to treat stains as soon as possible once they occur. This is another benefit that not all washing facilities have access to. We recommend a three-step strategy to overcome these stain removal drawbacks: quality solutions, stain diagnosis, and sufficient staff training.

To begin, go to Worldwide Janitor to get all of the high-quality laundry items you require in one convenient location.

Second, develop a mechanism for identifying the right commercial laundry equipment experts. No more purchasing from different wholesalers or spending more than you need to on retail products.

Challenge #2: Smelly or dirty washing machines.

Solution: Cleaning your washing machine in the fast lane.

When you wash hundreds or thousands of kgs of clothes per week, your washing machine will eventually need to be cleaned.

Rather than waiting until your washing machine is practically unusable before cleaning it, be proactive and schedule frequent washing machine cleanings. When you schedule washing machine cleanings, you’ll never be caught off guard when one of the machines stinks up the clothes and can’t be used.

You may need to clean your washing machine every one or two days, depending on how many loads of clothes you turn over. Inquire with your workers about how frequently the machines begin to gather detergent residue or mildew.

Challenge #3: Tangled strings are ruining your products.

Solution: Use mesh laundry bags

Mixing all of your laundry clothing together can be challenging, and can sometimes even harm materials, for facilities that wash everything (and I mean everything, from shoes and delicates to cleaning equipment like microfiber cloths and mop heads). At the same time, washing these items separately or by hand is not cost-effective.

The solution is to use mesh washing bags on a regular basis. Many facilities have them but don’t use them, and others, surprise, don’t keep mesh laundry bags on hand at all. They are an effective solution while being a cheap and simple one.

Take a look around your facilities to see what kind of damage is occurring on a regular basis. Take a look around your facilities to see what kind of damage is being done to fabrics on a regular basis that may be avoided with a mesh washing bag.

Challenge #4: Constantly running out of product.

Solution: Purchasing detergent and laundry products in bulk

This frequent issue has a straightforward solution: buy your washing goods in bulk. You will automatically receive a discount for ordering products in bulk, in addition to always having the products you require on hand.

Furthermore, we only stock the best and most effective laundry products available. See our latest post on the subject for additional information on the types of laundry products we carry and the bulk quantities in which they are available.

When you have a cleaning job to undertake, Worldwide Janitor will make sure you have all you need. Don’t allow any of these difficult commercial laundry challenges to slow you down.
